Legartis is a leading Legal AI company transforming how organizations manage and work on their contracts. As we scale across DACH and into new European markets, our go to market engine needs an operational backbone that keeps pace with it. We are looking for a software engineer with RevOps tooling experience to own HubSpot and the integrations around it end to end, and to build our GTM stack into a reliable, well-engineered system that Sales, Marketing and Customer Success build on every day.
Software Engineer – Revenue Operations (Leipzig)
Leipzig
Full-time
Permanent employee
Description
Your mission
- Own HubSpot as our core GTM system: architecture, workflows, automations, custom properties and integrations across the wider tool stack, including Younium for subscription and billing data.
- Design, build and operate the integrations and data pipelines between HubSpot, Younium and our product platform as production software: written in Python, version controlled, tested, monitored and deployed through CI/CD.
- Build event driven integrations on our Kafka based platform, so that product, usage and billing events flow reliably into the GTM stack.
- Design and enforce a clean data foundation, with consistent lifecycle stages, lead status, deal stages, attribution logic and territory and tier structures that hold up as the team grows.
- Build and maintain the reporting and dashboards that give Sales, Marketing and leadership real time visibility into pipeline, forecast and rep level performance.
- Partner closely with Sales leadership on the metrics that matter and own the infrastructure that surfaces them reliably.
- Act as the connective tissue between Sales, Marketing and Customer Success, keeping funnel definitions and handoffs consistent end to end.
- Support forecasting, pipeline reviews and deal desk style workflows, including approvals and pricing exceptions, alongside Sales leadership.
- Translate commercial priorities into system level changes: lead routing and scoring, territory design, comp structure alignment.
Your profile
- 3 or more years as a software engineer, including hands on work with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations or Marketing Operations tooling, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, ideally in Python: clean, tested and maintainable code, version control, code review and CI/CD.
- You code with AI every day: you use AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor to ship faster, and you have the engineering judgement to review, test and own what they produce.
- A solid understanding of B2B sales processes and the tools around them: pipeline stages, lead routing, forecasting, quoting and billing.
- A track record of integrating a CRM with other business tools (e.g. billing, marketing, support) via REST APIs and webhooks, writing the integration code yourself rather than relying on no code tools.
- Understanding of event driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka: producers and consumers, idempotency, error handling and retries.
- Comfortable with SQL and data modelling.
- Nice to have: experience hosting and operating the services you build, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure such as AWS, and monitoring.
- Deep hands on HubSpot expertise at admin and API level: workflows, custom properties, reporting, permissions. Experience with Salesforce or another CRM is a plus.
- A track record of building or cleaning up CRM data foundations at scale, not just running reports on top of someone else's setup.
- Strong analytical instincts and comfort turning messy data into a dashboard people actually use.
- Experience working cross functionally with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success, and the confidence to push back when something does not add up.
- A structured, ownership driven way of working, comfortable in a fast moving scale up where not everything is documented yet.
- Fluent English, German is a plus given our DACH customer base.
Why us?
Legartis exists to unlock legal work at scale.
- Work in a Legal AI scale up with a flat hierarchy and a team that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriously.
- Real ownership from day one.
- Competitive compensation package including participation in our Employee Stock Option Plan.
- Hybrid work environment with at least two days / week in our Leipzig office.
- Regular team events in Germany and Switzerland.
- The chance to shape how a fast-growing GTM organization actually runs, not just report on it after the fact.
Your first 90 days
In your first month you audit the current HubSpot instance and ship the first version of our data foundation cleanup: lifecycle stages, lead status, attribution. By day 60 you deliver the first rep level pipeline dashboard for Sales leadership. By day 90 you have proposed a roadmap for lead routing, scoring and the next phase of GTM tooling integration.
Process
Send us your CV, a short note on why this role fits you is welcome. If we think that this could be a fit, we invite you to the application process:
- Conversation with the hiring manager to get to know each other
- Conversation with the line manager to understand the role better, including a technical deep dive on your engineering, integration and HubSpot experience.
- A practical engineering exercise based on a real Legartis scenario, so that you know what to expect from the job and that we understand how you work.
- A “meet the team” round to meet whom you would be working with.
- If there is a mutual fit, we welcome you to the team.
